Parent coaching
The reach of therapy goes well beyond the hour of our session and even though your child might be the client in the sessions, it’s important for parents/caregivers to have the education and information you need to support your child at home and in the community! If you need longer than the small amount of time at the end of a session to ask questions and brainstorm about your child’s development and needs, scheduling a parent coaching session may be helpful! Some areas of discussion might be about your child’s diagnosis/challenges, co-regulation strategies for your child, advocacy for school and community support etc. Resources, community connections and additional information will be provided via follow up email
